They DO have a Windows XP Home CD that came with their laptop. Actually they've got 2: 1 "Quick Recovery" which wipes everything and 1 "Windows XP Home SP1" CD that looks like I can use to do an However, the old and new keys must be of the same type (Retail/OEM/Corporate) or it won't be possible to activate it.

reading word documents in new laptop
All of the necessary parts of it weren't in the IE folder. I tried several methods of installing it but nothing seems to work. Neither Windows XP nor AOL 7.0 have a useable Internet Explorer. Are there any known problems? Are there any reasons why it won't install on a laptop? Please Advise if you know of anything.
